Duchess is a 'Treeing Walker Hound'... kind of like a tall beagle.  When rescued, she had 8 - 4 week old puppies, a broken & disclocated hip and was starving.  She's earned her current happiness!

Doc

Blue is the sweetest of Duchess' puppies.  He demands constant attention.  Has been known to dig under the gate and bark on the front porch to come in for a hug.

Doc is absolutely huge!  But oh what a baby.  He was definitely on the back row when bravery was being handed out...  The first time the ceiling fan was turned on, he ran for cover - got his name from "what's up Doc?"

Duke

The Wild Child!!!

Duke is the wildest, most loving, craziest animal I've ever known.  Diesel trucks send him into a fit.  He has more energy than all other dogs combined.  All you can do is love him!!

Lady

(The ultimate Couch potato... oh how she likes her comfort)

Lady is quiet and calm.  She loves to be on the couch.  We get up early in the morning, so extricating her from the couch is a daily chore...  one she hates!
