Boarding Options
Full Board with Stall: $375 per month. Includes full use of facility, barn with stall and pastures. Horses are outside as much as possible for good physical/mental health and grazing.
We follow a "forage first" program of nutrition. Details below...
We include paste worming every other month and Solitude feed thru fly control April through September.
Full Board, no Stall: $265 per month. Same as Full Board with Stall, but horse does not have use of a stall - is turned out 24 X 7.
Barn
The barn is bright, clean and new with safe 12 X 12 matted stalls, hot/cold wash rack and tack/feed room. Electrical outlets are located throughout the barn. The exterior of the barn is well lit for safety.
Riding Arena
The outdoor riding arena is well constructed of 5 board fencing at a height of 5'5" for safety.
The arena measures 88' X 160' with excellent footing. A round pen is easily accessible from the arena.
We have a sprinkler system for the arena to keep the dust down. The arena is watered regularly during the Summer (unless there are watering restrictions)
Pastures
Horses are in large pastures - typically 3 - 5 acres. All pastures have lots of trees for shade in the summer and for protection from the elements in the winter.
Fencing
All fencing is new and safe. Gates are designed to keep out unwanted critters. Gate latches are secure, easy to use and provide "one hand" access.
Water
Fresh water is available at all times. Water troughs are checked twice daily, topped up as needed, and scrubbed clean regularly.
Nutrition
We follow a balanced, horse sensible approach to nutrition. Diet is kept as natural as possible.
Our program is strictly "forage first".
We feed only high quality products. Our hay is the best available Bermuda and Perennial Peanut Hay ("the Alfalfa of the South") Please ask us about this incredible hay product!
We provide free choice minerals in all pastures.
Our pastures are overseeded with Rye for winter grazing.
A regular worming schedule keeps the horses in tip-top condition.
Although the majority of horses do not require grain on our program, it can be provided for an additional fee.
Dental Care
We highly recommend regular Dental Care for your horse.
This is important for overall health and compliments a good nutritional program.
We recommend either Dr. DePuy of Safe & Sound or Dr. Febles who specializes in Equine Dentistry.
Dental Care is the responsibility of the Owner
Farrier Care
Regular farrier care is the responsibility of the Horse Owner.
We use several very good farriers we can recommend.
Owners are encouraged to be present for the farrier visit.
We will hold your horse for an additional fee.
Medical Care
All horses MUST be current on Vaccinations and Coggins test.
All Veterinarian expenses are the responsibility of the Horse Owner.
We reserve the right to make the decision to call a Veterinarian if the Owner cannot be contacted.
In emergency situations, the Veterinarian will be called immediately.
We use several very good Veterinarians we can recommend.
